Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. Payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We will make you aware of all charges associated with your treatment before it begins. If you have dental insurance, as a courtesy, we will help you with your insurance claims and will submit your claims electronically. However, based on your specific coverage and insurance company, we will require you to pay a pre-determined portion for your services rendered. We understand the rising costs of health care, and we strive to deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore we offer our patients several payment options. You may either:
- Pay in full for treatment and receive reimbursement from your insurance company directly. This payment method results in the fastest reimbursement and quickest claim settlement for you. For your convenience we accept all major credit cards. We offer a 5% discount for payment in full with cash or check.
- Pay the estimated patient portion of treatment, leaving a credit card on file with our office to cover any remaining balance due after your insurance has paid their portion of the claim. Any overpayment will be promptly refunded to you.
- We offer convenient financing through Care Credit – a medical credit card that allows patients to make payments with no interest.
Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. After that, you will receive a statement for any unpaid balance. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after this time frame is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. After 60 days, a 1.5% monthly interest charge will be applied to your balance. After 90 days, you will be sent for collection. We offer, on a case by case basis, special financial arrangements that can be discussed with our business manager prior to your treatment.
